We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven SalesSpecialist to join our team at a leading Battery Energy StorageSystems (BESS) manufacturer. The Bess Sales Manager will beresponsible for driving sales growth by identifying opportunities,managing customer relationships, and delivering tailored energystorage solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of BESStechnology, market trends, and customer needs, along withexceptional communication and negotiation skills.As a first step,several main accountabilities are expected from the potentialcandidate:1. Sales Strategy and Execution:Develop and implementsales strategies to achieve business objectives in the energystorage market.Identify and pursue new business opportunities,including utility-scale projects, commercial & industrial(C&I) applications, and microgrid solutions.Meet or exceedsales targets through proactive client engagement and effectivepipeline management.2. Customer Relationship Management:Build andmaintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, andstakeholders.Understand customer needs and present tailoredsolutions that align with their technical and financialgoals.Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensureclient satisfaction and repeat business.3. Technical and MarketExpertise:Stay up-to-date on BESS technology, market trends, andregulatory developments to effectively position the companysproducts.Work closely with the technical team to design and proposeenergy storage solutions, including technical specifications,configurations, and performance benefits.Deliver compelling productpresentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.4. ProposalDevelopment and Negotiation:Prepare detailed sales proposals,including cost-benefit analyses, ROI calculations, and projecttimelines.Lead contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms forboth the company and the customer.Collaborate with legal, finance,and engineering teams to finalize agreements.5. Collaboration withInternal Teams:Coordinate with the engineering, manufacturing, andproject management teams to ensure smooth project executionpost-sale.Provide market feedback to the product development teamto enhance the BESS product portfolio.Participate incross-functional meetings to align sales efforts with companyobjectives.6. Reporting and Analysis:Track sales performancemetrics and prepare regular reports for management.Analyze marketdata to identify trends, risks, and opportunities forgrowth.Maintain an up-to-date CRM database with customerinformation and sales activities.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSBachelorsdegree in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy,or a related field.35 years of experience in sales, preferably inthe energy storage, renewable energy, or power systemssectors.Strong understanding of BESS technology, includinglithium-ion batteries, inverters, and power conversionsystems.Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and negotiatehigh-value contracts.Proficiency in CRM software and MicrosoftOffice Suite.SKILLSTechnical knowledge of grid-scale andbehind-the-meter energy storage applications.Experience inrenewable energy project financing or sales.Familiarity with energypolicies, grid interconnection standards, and marketregulations.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strongproblem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to buildtrust and credibility with customers and partners.Self-motivatedand results-oriented with a proactive approach tosales.OTHERSAvailability to travelBe able to work in amulticultural environment.Competitive salary based on experienceand qualifications.Opportunities for professional growth andindustry engagement.Be able to commit deadlines to attend theProjects objectives.Be able to work on dynamic situations and undereventual pressure circumstances.Able to uphold and respect workethics and company policies to conduct activities with integrity.Ateam player who demonstrates patience, flexibility, andhonesty.Office-based role with frequent travel to client sites,conferences, and trade shows.
