Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Finance and Office Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization, ensuring accuracy in financial processes, overseeing compliance, and providing strategic insights to drive business growth. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative setting and possesses strong analytical skills. Key Responsibilities Financial Management and Reporting Handle accounts payable administration, process payments, and manage payroll transactions. Monitor daily bank transactions, reconcile bank statements, and manage weekly payment batches. Maintain and oversee the posting of transactions to journals and ledgers. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Conduct VAT reviews and assist with month-end closure activities. Strategic Financial Planning Support the development and implementation of financial plans and budgets to achieve strategic objectives. Perform detailed financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making. Participate in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning. Compliance and Risk Management Ensure compliance with Dutch and international accounting standards and regulations. Oversee external audits, liaising with auditors to ensure accurate reporting and transparency. Enforce internal control policies to manage financial risks and protect assets. Office Administrative Control Management Collaborate with the General Manager and Sales Director to improve operational workflows and maintain efficiency. Process and monitor accounts receivables, including factoring and collection services. Manage employee expense administration and troubleshoot invoices and posting issues as needed. Enhance productivity by implementing best practices and utilizing financial software tools like Microsoft Business Central. Maintain, monitor and control office local purchasing needs (excluding trading goods) Overview, maintain and control of all insurance related to the office and business Maintain and overview a smooth office environment and meet all requirements that arises to meet such needs Manage Office Payroll Maintain and control Staff holidays In charge of all new incoming employees office orientation Make sure all outgoing employees follow the exit process Set up any process that currently is not yet created or implement according all new and exisiting process in discussion together with the company Directors. Qualifications Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; Masters degree or relevant certifications (CPA, CMA) preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance, bookkeeping, or a similar role. Proficient in Dutch accounting principles and highly skilled in Excel and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Exact Online is advantageous. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Fluent in English, both written and spoken; eligible to work in the Netherlands. Knowledge of Dutch language is advantageous. Demonstrated experience in a multicultural environment and excellent interpersonal skills.
