We are looking for a skilled and motivated Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of exceptional mid size 5 star Luxury hotel in Rome. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Managing Director to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the hotel, while providing top-tier service and exceeding guest expectations.
About the Role
As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences. You will oversee hotel operations, ensuring that objectives are met, occupancy is maximized, revenue targets are achieved, and the hotels reputation continues to grow. Your leadership, organizational, and communication skills will be critical to thrive in this high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities
Operational Management:
Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring all hotel departments function smoothly and efficiently.
Uphold and enhance the highest standards of guest service, ensuring consistent quality across all touchpoints.
Review and refine hotel policies and procedures to maintain operational excellence.
Leadership and Team Development:
Lead, mentor, and motivate hotel staff, fostering a positive, high-performing work culture.
Identify training opportunities to improve service levels and enhance the skills of the team.
Work with HR to recruit, onboard, and manage staff to build a strong, dedicated team.
Financial Oversight:
Optimize occupancy, revenue, and profitability by implementing effective pricing and promotional strategies.
Manage hotel budgets and financial plans, controlling costs without compromising service quality.
Prepare and review financial reports, tracking performance and taking corrective actions when necessary.
Guest Experience:
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism, aiming to exceed expectations.
Implement strategies to build customer loyalty and encourage repeat bookings.
Ensure a seamless and personalized guest experience from arrival to departure.
Sales and Marketing:
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to drive guest acquisition and retention strategies.
Identify new revenue opportunities and maximize sales through various channels.
Maintain and enhance the hotels reputation through excellent online reviews and guest feedback.
Health and Safety:
Ensure the hotel complies with all safety, health, and legal regulations.
Perform regular safety audits and inspections to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
Qualifications
Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role, with a strong track record of leadership and operational success.
Comprehensive understanding of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, FB, and sales.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting and revenue management.
A passion for customer service and ensuring an outstanding guest experience.
Ability to lead by example, setting high standards for staff performance and service quality.
