We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Compliance to strengthen our Human Resources Function in Market Area Europe & Latin America (MELA).As a Compliance SME based in Romania or Italy, you will be responsible for driving our Human Resources (HR) agenda on various compliance-related topics for South-East Mediterranean. Collaboration with other HR roles will be key to our success. You will also act as the primary HR interface with Group Functions concerning the prevention and follow-up of illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.This position reports to the Head of Program Management & Compliance in HR of Market Area Europe & Latin America and is part of the Customer Unit South-East Mediterraneans People team.What you will doServe as the primary guide for countries and be accountable for implementing and executing relevant parts of Ericsson''s compliance framework.Increase knowledge and understanding of compliance within the HR/People Function.Act as the main point of contact for central and country-specific compliance or legal functions.Lead assigned investigations and ensure proper remediation actions in partnership with relevant stakeholders.Drive proper Conflict of Interest handling within the HR function.Support the evolution of our company culture based on compliance principles.Contribute to local and global compliance networks within the group.What you will bringLegal background with Labor Law expertise and/or relevant experience in HR compliance.Over 7 years of experience, preferably in an international environment.Proficiency in English, Romanian, and/or Italian.Ability to handle sensitive cases with credibility and integrity.Strong business intuition and understanding.Proven ability to lead and motivate change in a matrix organization.Effective team player with proactive attitude.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including in virtual environments.Experience working across countries and time zones, liaising with HR teams to ensure governance.Good understanding of HR policies and labor regulations.What we offerGlobal collaboration in an international environment.Full-time employment with flexible working hours.Training opportunities and professional development.Flexible work environment, including remote work options.Competitive compensation and benefits, including private medical care, insurance, and international career opportunities.LocationRomania (Bucharest) or Italy (Rome), with options for remote work in line with company regulations.
