Team Leader AP with German
We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to take on the role of Team Leader in our Accounts Payable team. You will be responsible for managing the team and ensuring the efficient performance of the department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, fluency in both German and English, and extensive experience in the AP area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading an Accounts Payable team of approximately 15-20 individuals.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for Accounts Payable matters with key stakeholders.
- Monitoring and enhancing team performance.
- Analyzing existing AP processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Leading and managing improvement projects.
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
- Providing support to clients and team members with ad hoc activities.
- Developing and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and career growth.
- Fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar position.
- Extensive experience in Accounts Payable management, including knowledge of end-to-end AP processes.
- Perfect communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- A Masters degree, preferably in economics, finance, or accounting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP, with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Fluency in English and German, with both languages at a minimum C1 level.
- Strong analytical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- High personal culture in client interactions, demonstrating professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in leading and implementing process improvement initiatives.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Openness for hybrid model of work ( 2 days per week from the office in Dabrowa Górnicza).
