This role is crucial in designing, implementing, and optimizing integrations across our ecosystem, ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities * Architect and develop scalable, resilient, and secure integrations for our API management platform in AWS * Design and implement API gateways, authentication mechanisms, and monitoring solutions * Develop automation pipelines for API deployments and infrastructure management * Collaborate with engineering teams to define best practices and governance for API lifecycle management * Ensure compliance with security policies and standards, implementing robust data protection measures * Optimize API performance and scalability using AWS-native solutions * Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring high availability and reliability Requirements What Were Looking For * 5+ years of experience in integration engineering, cloud architecture, or API development * Deep expertise in AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, Step Functions, EventBridge, DynamoDB, etc.) * Strong proficiency in RESTful APIs, OAuth, OpenID, GraphQL, and API authentication mechanisms * Solid knowledge of microservices architecture, DevOps, and CI/CD practices * Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS) * Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Bonus Skills * Knowledge of serverless technologies and event-driven architectures * Experience in API security (rate limiting, throttling, encryption, access control policies) * Familiarity with APIM tools like Kong, Apigee, or AWS API Gateway * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation) BenefitsRemote-first setup and flexible working hoursInclusive, collaborative company cultureHigh-impact role in an innovative tech startup
