Position Overview:
Were hiring a Senior Frontend Developer to join our team, with deep, hands-on experience in Vue.js (both Vue 2 and Vue 3) in production environments. Frontend testing is a plus. As a senior team member, you'll be instrumental in defining front-end strategies, mentoring team members, and collaborating closely with designers and backend developers to deliver a seamless, reliable web application. This role isnt just about building interfacesits about crafting exceptional digital experiences that deliver value.
Responsibilities:
- Lead front-end architecture and implementation, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to transform designs into exceptional user experiences.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, accessibility, and responsiveness.
- Integrate and collaborate effectively with backend services via REST or GraphQL APIs.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 4+ years of front-end development experience, focused on Vue.js (Vue 2 & Vue 3).
- Proven ability to deliver complex, production-ready applications.
- Deep understanding of component-based architecture, state management (Vuex or Pinia), and Vue Router.
- Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
- Experience with frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite).
- Strong collaboration skills with backend developers, designers, and product stakeholders.
- Clean coding practices, performance-oriented mindset, and attentiveness to UI/UX.
- Advanced experience in frontend testing:
- Unit testing with tools like Jest, Vitest
- End-to-end testing using Cypress, Playwright, etc.
- Experience setting up or maintaining a frontend test suite and establishing testing best practices
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with design systems or libraries such as Vuetify or Tailwind CSS.
- Experience mentoring junior developers or leading small teams.
- Exposure to CI/CD workflows and participating in code review processes.
- Familiarity with backend frameworks like Django/Python is a bonus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is advantageous.
