Role: Freelance Program Manager
Location: Brussels (hybrid/remote flexibility available)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months (with potential for extension)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex, cross-functional programs within the financial services sector, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Define project scope, deliverables, and timelines, and ensure successful execution from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments, including IT, operations, compliance, and finance, to drive project success.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and lessons learned.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager, preferably within the financial services or banking sector.
- Strong understanding of financial services processes, regulations, and industry trends.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
- Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch and/or French is a plus).
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Availability to work on a freelance basis and commit to the project duration.
