We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven SalesSpecialist to join our team at a leading Battery Energy StorageSystems (BESS) manufacturer. The Bess Sales Manager will beresponsible for driving sales growth by identifying opportunities,managing customer relationships, and delivering tailored energystorage solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of BESStechnology, market trends, and customer needs, along withexceptional communication and negotiation skills. As a first step,several main accountabilities are expected from the potentialcandidate: 1. Sales Strategy and Execution: - Develop and implementsales strategies to achieve business objectives in the energystorage market. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities,including utility-scale projects, commercial & industrial(C&I) applications, and microgrid solutions. - Meet or exceedsales targets through proactive client engagement and effectivepipeline management. 2. Customer Relationship Management: - Buildand maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, andstakeholders. - Understand customer needs and present tailoredsolutions that align with their technical and financial goals. -Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure clientsatisfaction and repeat business. 3. Technical and MarketExpertise: - Stay up-to-date on BESS technology, market trends, andregulatory developments to effectively position the companysproducts. - Work closely with the technical team to design andpropose energy storage solutions, including technicalspecifications, configurations, and performance benefits. - Delivercompelling product presentations and demonstrations to prospectiveclients. 4. Proposal Development and Negotiation: - Preparedetailed sales proposals, including cost-benefit analyses, ROIcalculations, and project timelines. - Lead contract negotiationsto ensure favorable terms for both the company and the customer. -Collaborate with legal, finance, and engineering teams to finalizeagreements. 5. Collaboration with Internal Teams: - Coordinate withthe engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams toensure smooth project execution post-sale. - Provide marketfeedback to the product development team to enhance the BESSproduct portfolio. - Participate in cross-functional meetings toalign sales efforts with company objectives. 6. Reporting andAnalysis: - Track sales performance metrics and prepare regularreports for management. - Analyze market data to identify trends,risks, and opportunities for growth. - Maintain an up-to-date CRMdatabase with customer information and sales activities. MINIMUMREQUIREMENTS - Bachelors degree in Engineering, BusinessAdministration, Renewable Energy, or a related field. - 35 yearsof experience in sales, preferably in the energy storage, renewableenergy, or power systems sectors. - Strong understanding of BESStechnology, including lithium-ion batteries, inverters, and powerconversion systems. - Proven ability to manage complex sales cyclesand negotiate high-value contracts. - Proficiency in CRM softwareand Microsoft Office Suite. SKILLS - Technical knowledge ofgrid-scale and behind-the-meter energy storage applications. -Experience in renewable energy project financing or sales. -Familiarity with energy policies, grid interconnection standards,and market regulations. - Excellent communication and presentationskills. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. -Ability to build trust and credibility with customers and partners.- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach tosales.
