We are seeking to hire their new
Director Business Development
Duties:
- Define regional longer-term strategic goals and business development initiatives in line with the client''s overall strategic objectives.
- Identify and prioritize new revenue-generating opportunities in all global markets and direct business development activities.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and a professional and knowledgeable approach.
- Drive revenue and profit increase to achieve sustainable business growth targets; communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
- Record, analyze, report, and administer according to systems and company process requirements.
- Provide regular and reliable sales and profit forecasts to the board relating to budgets with all corrective actions planned.
- Manage product/service mix, pricing, and margins according to agreed direction; negotiate contracts with customers and 3rd party companies.
- Conduct regular analysis of the competitive environment and market trends; provide market feedback to the relevant function teams of the company regarding competitive offerings and prospect needs; generate product development ideas to meet market needs.
- Responsible for overall management of sales & marketing, distribution, and customer relationship activities; responsible for the initiation and implementation of the short and long-term strategic business plans and new customer acquisition plan.
Who you are:
- Proven track record and success in a senior sales & marketing role with securing sales/profit results and strategic goals versus targets.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot business opportunities; proven track record of successfully pitching for new business and new customers in a leading role.
- Excellent negotiation skills; strive to maximize the benefits of the enterprise, be good at finding a win-win solution, and promoting cooperation.
- University degree in a technical, business, or scientific subject; an MBA is an advantage.
- Experience in a similar function with a focus on business development, strategic marketing, sales, or product management; proven business acquisition success record.
