We are currently seeking a qualifiedPV Environmental Technician to join our dynamic team. This positionwill initially require on-site work in Rome, transitioning to aremote work setup based on project needs and performance. As a PVEnvironmental Technician, you will play an integral role insupporting our projects by ensuring compliance with environmentalregulations and standards across various photovoltaic (PV)installations. You will be responsible for executing a range oftasks pivotal to the environmental assessment process, and you willcollaborate closely with project teams to achieve ourorganizational goals. Key Responsibilities - Provide technicalsupport in reviewing the SIA (Environmental Impact Study) and otherrelevant preliminary environmental studies before the issuance ofthe VIA (Environmental Impact Authorization). Analyzeproject-specific requirements and constraints to ensurecomprehensive environmental assessments. - Develop an EnvironmentalRequirements Matrix, outlining the necessary assessments associatedwith the VIA, ensuring that all regulatory and environmentalconsiderations are meticulously planned and executed. - Calculatebudgets pertaining to environmental supervision and the executionof environmental measures to aid project feasibility and compliancewith sustainability standards. - Formulate environmentalspecifications for EWA (Environmental Work Authorization) and EPC(Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracts, ensuringclarity and adherence to environmental expectations. - Preparetechnical specifications for the procurement of environmentalservices, aligning project needs with regulatory demands. -Participate actively in the review of environmental documentationrelated to the relazione di ottemperanza (compliance report) toassess and ensure that all stipulated conditions are met throughoutproject execution. - Coordinate environmental aspects of variousprojects while providing oversight through routine inspectionvisits to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and projectspecifications. - Conduct thorough reviews of environmentalreports, providing insights and recommendations to improve ourcompliance standards and project outcomes. - Travel may be requiredto project sites for inspections, evaluations, and coordinationwith local regulatory bodies. Qualifications - A minimum of 4 yearsof proven experience as an Environmental Technician, preferablywithin the photovoltaic sector. - Strong understanding ofenvironmental legislation, regulations, and best practicesapplicable to renewable energy projects. - Demonstrated experiencein conducting environmental impact assessments and managingenvironmental compliance across various types of projects. -Proficient in preparing technical documentation, includingspecifications and budget calculations, related to environmentalwork. - Familiarity with environmental management systems andstandards, along with a solid understanding of qualitative andquantitative analysis methods in environmental science. - Excellentorganizational and project management skills, with the ability tocoordinate multiple projects simultaneously while adhering toproject timelines and deadlines. - Strong communication skills,both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with projectstakeholders, regulatory agencies, and internal teams. -Willingness to travel as required for project inspections andstakeholder engagement.
