NEAM S.A. (Nord Est Asset Management S.A.) is a Luxembourg management company, expression of the Italian Cooperative Credit Banks. It is the management company of NEF, a UCITS Umbrella Fund with 18 sub-funds. We are looking for a person with a strong background in the fund administration field to join our team as Fund Administration Oversight Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the oversight of the depositary, registrar agent, and fund accounting activities which are delegated to a third party provider, to ensure the net asset value of the UCITS is calculated correctly and the compliance with the applicable regulation, reporting to the Conducting Officer in charge of the UCI administration. Key Responsibilities The Fund Administration Oversight Manager is in charge of: Overseeing the activity of the depositary bank, registrar agent and accounting of the Fund to ensure the NAV of the UCITS is calculated correctly and the compliance with applicable regulatory framework. Conducting periodic/ongoing controls and due diligence on the depositary bank, registrar agent and fund administration, and enhancing the control framework in place. Performing gap analysis on new circulars and regulation affecting the fund administration function. Maintaining documented policies and procedures on fund administration matters, ensuring that an appropriate oversight framework is implemented and applied. Maintaining the operational manual and other operational procedures in place with the fund administrator. Controlling the fees, invoices and commissions borne by the Fund, as well as any costs charged to the Fund ensuring that only investors benefitting from the service are charged. Supervising the costs borne by the Fund, periodically reviewing the ongoing charges of each sub-fund. Liaising with the depositary bank for the accounts opening by the local depositary banks, for appointing a local tax agent including contacting external providers for tax claim. Liaising with the auditor and depositary bank during the annual and semiannual audit process on the Fund financial statements. Compiling any regulatory documents required from time to time with reference to fund administration (e.g. self-assessment questionnaire). Liaising with the fund administrator for operational onboarding of new sub-funds, delegated investment managers and mergers. Producing a monthly report with the activities carried out during the reference period and any issues arose. Preparing the documents to be discussed at the Management Committee and the Board of Directors meetings. Skills required Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics, or a related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in the fund administration within a management company or central administrator, with proven expertise in optimizing processes and solid knowledge of oversight regulatory requirements and fund regulations Sound general knowledge of the operation of UCIs (calculation of NAVs, processing of redemptions/subscriptions of units, types of UCIs, parties involved in a UCI) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both Italian and English...
