Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mechatronics Engineer to support a cutting-edge machine manufacturing project in Eindhoven. This role sits within a dynamic RD environment, focused on developing next-generation industrial machinery. You will play a key role across the full lifecycle of mechatronic systems - from concept development and prototyping to testing, integration, and delivery. Expect close collaboration with cross-functional teams across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
Responsibilities:
- Design and development of advanced mechatronic systems and subassemblies
- Integration of mechanical structures, electrical components, and control systems
- Conduct simulations, testing, and validation of prototypes
- Lead or participate in FMEA, risk assessments, and design reviews
- Work with internal engineering teams and external suppliers to optimize system performance
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture and test reports
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor''s or Masters degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years'' experience in mechatronic system development, ideally in industrial or machine manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of sensors, actuators, embedded systems, and real-time control
- Proficiency with tools like MATLAB/Simulink, SolidWorks, or equivalent design and simulation software
- Hands-on experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., CE marking, machine safety) is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
