The responsibilities include:Monitoring and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and equipment issues, and process optimization.Driving initiatives to enhance operational processes and equipment performance to achieve manufacturing excellence.Developing supporting documentation, SOPs, PFMEA, Control Plans, and work instructions compliant with GMP.Proactively monitoring existing processes and equipment to identify improvement opportunities and implementing solutions.Reviewing and contributing to the development of batch-related recipes (such as those in POMS) and other manufacturing documentation for accuracy and efficiency.Providing expert input or reviewing the design of batch and cleaning manufacturing recipes within the Distributed Control System (DCS).Supporting the introduction of new processes and equipment.Streamlining and updating documentation, procedures, and processes.Reviewing and resolving DCS and SAP anomalies, and collaborating on drafting and reviewing procedures.Supporting compliance initiatives and regulatory or audit inspections.Developing inter-departmental communication and planning.Adhering to and supporting all EHS standards, procedures, and policies.Ensuring department maintains implemented processes and tools, e.g., 5S.QualificationsDegree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.Fluent in English (spoken and written).Previous experience with DCS, MES, or in a manufacturing environment is a plus.GMP knowledge related to the pharmaceutical industry is desirable.Additional InformationAbbVie is an equal opportunity employer committed to operating with integrity, driving innovation, transforming lives, and serving our community.
