You will work closely with all the General Managers to support them and be the first point of contact in terms of financial controlling, P&L analysis (revenue & costs), forecast, budget, purchasing. In addition, in coordination with the Director of Finance & Administration, you will be a financial partner for the CEO and the Managing Director.This position, which is intended to be middle or senior, reports directly to the Director of Finance & Administration and will be part of a team of 4 people of the headquarter including the Director, two financial controllers and one financial assistant.The candidate will be Milan based. You will be asked to attend business trips (approximately 50%) in order to meet the general managers and be their advisor for what concerns all the financial issues.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe professional we are looking for has to deal with our Operational Management Team, General Managers, and Revenue Management team for all the properties in terms of financial issues, moreover he/she will support the hotels and the Director of Finance & Administration in the budget & forecast process, conducting both annual budgeting processes and ongoing financial tasks throughout the year.Following some of the main areas and activities where the Financial Analyst is demanded to work:Accounting and Financial Reporting ControlPreparation of the Daily Revenue report, Preparation of monthly P&L statements and related reporting (Template for GM: BRM, F&B, SPA, payroll...), Monthly reconciliation of general and analytical accounting.Financial Planning and BudgetingCollaborate in the preparation of the annual budget, Draft and update Monthly forecasts, Analyze variances in P&L items compared to budget objectives.Financial Analysis and Management ControlEvaluate company profitability and identify areas for improvement (ROI analysis...), Perform cost and profit margin analysis (Departmental profit...).Procurement AreaSupervision of warehouse purchases, Monitoring of HSM suppliers, Analysis and cost comparison of warehouses.Investment AreaSupervision and control of Capex/FF&E purchasing procedures, Preparation of Capex/FF&E reports, Special project / Acquisitions, CRM analysis, IT software implementation and setup interfaces.Reports to OwnershipMonthly sales reports, P&L summary report, Quarterly forecast report.PERSONAL COMPETENCIESThese are the personal skills, qualities, and attributes you will need to demonstrate to carry out your job effectively.Plans, organizes, and uses a systematic approach to get things done.Manages time effectively.
