Are you a senior technical expert in network and security infrastructure, looking to make a real impact in a dynamic environment? Were seeking a Senior Network Security Operations Engineer to join our team in Apeldoorn. You will be the first point of contact for 1st and 2nd line issues, while also taking ownership of daily management, security, and optimization of network infrastructure, with a focus on PKI environments.

Your Role:

• Implement and manage changes to network and security infrastructures.
• Advise clients proactively with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Ensure stable, secure, and optimized operations of infrastructure.
• Mentor junior team members and share technical expertise.

You Bring:

• A completed technical education (MBO/HBO) and experience in data networks and security.
• Strong knowledge of networking (CCNA or equivalent).
• Experience with LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and Load Balancers (Cisco, FortiNet, RadWare).
• Solid analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken written).
• Flexibility to work outside standard hours and travel to data centers (Apeldoorn Almere).
• A valid driver''s license (B).
