Location: Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin,Qingdao, Chengdu... Internship Duration: 5,5 to 6 monthsCompensation: 3000CNY/month Description: Responsible for thereception desk, carrying out general administration duties, andwill be required to assist with the day-to-day running of the FrontOffice department. Provide a friendly welcome and high-qualityservice over the phone and on the guests arrival to the hotel,deal with the demands of the front desk, and find suitablesolutions to meet customers needs depending on the possibilitiesavailable at the hotel. Carry out all necessary operations whenguests arrive and depart (check-in/ check-out). This internshipwill allow you to have a hand on experience in the hospitalityfield, in a fast growing environment in China. Responsibilities - To carry out the day-to-dayadministration of the front office, including answering telephonesand emails, and distributing posts and emails. - To answer guests''queries, refer them to contact points at which they can obtainfurther information. - Liaise with other departments regardingmatters arising: e.g. Security, Housekeeping, Engineering,accounting, F&B, etc - Report to Front Office Manager anymaintenance that needs attention at the Lobby. - Escort the guestto the room and explain all the hotel and rooms facilities. -Following through with these maintenance issues when required. -Work on a roster basis of 5 days but spread over 7 days. -Supervise day-to-day running of the front office. - Ensure thedelivery of high standards to guests. - Ensure a speedy resolutionto any problems that may arise on shift. - Liaise with housekeepingregarding accommodation requirements. - Assisting with the dutiesof other departments if limited staff.
