As aSenior Project Manager, you will beresponsible for the end-to-end execution of complex vehicledevelopment projects. Your role will be critical in aligningcross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure timely,cost-effective, and high-quality project outcomes.
Lead the planning, scoping, andexecution of vehicle development projects.
Define clear project goals, KPIs,and timelines, ensuring alignment with strategic businessobjectives.
Identifyproject risks early, develop mitigation plans, and manageescalations.
Track projectperformance, analyze variances, and recommend correctiveactions.
Manage and mentora team of project managers and assistant projectmanagers.
Build strongworking relationships across multiple departments and businessunits.
Prepare and deliverpresentations and reports to senior management.
Oversee and control project budgets(OPEX & CAPEX), and facilitate executive approvals.
Collaborate closely with the GlobalPowertrain Organization and other internationalstakeholders.
Leadinitiatives to continuously improve tools, processes, andcommunication strategies.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities toensure DAF remains at the forefront of innovation.
Education &Experience:
Masters degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or AutomotiveEngineering (or equivalent).
15+ years of experience in engineering within a productdevelopment organization.
5+ years of successful project management experience,ideally IPMA-certified or similar.
