As one of the first contacts with guests, qualities such as availability and friendliness are essential to align with the hotels image and standards.The ideal Restaurant Manager candidate is highly quality-oriented and a team player. The person will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for:Supervising, coordinating, and managing the service efficiently and courteously for restaurants and banquets/events.Establishing and maintaining effective relationships within the team, following hotel guidelines.Positively impacting the team by taking responsibility and initiative to resolve issues, communicating clearly with guests and staff.Developing and maintaining staff training plans.Creating staff work schedules based on restaurant bookings and hotel occupancy.Leading department meetings and participating in budget preparation.Ensuring staff are knowledgeable about menus and leveraging sales opportunities during service.Maintaining proactive communication with other hotel departments to meet guest needs.Ensuring all staff adhere to Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) standards.Responsibilities and duties:Monitoring daily and monthly stock levels to meet service requirements according to hotel policies.Recruiting and selecting staff.Ensuring health and safety standards, regulations, and policies are followed.Supervising hygiene and sanitation standards in the restaurant and room service areas.Maintaining high grooming and personal hygiene standards among staff.Communicating with staff to understand guest needs, providing feedback and coaching as needed.Requirements:At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar role within 4* or 5* hotels.Excellent knowledge of English and a second foreign language.Skills in restaurant setup and mise en place techniques.Knowledge of the catering industry and menu composition.Experience in hotels affiliated with the "Leading Hotel of the World" (LHW) is preferred.Personal qualities and skills:Elegant and refined appearance.Good presence and natural elegance.Professionalism and guest service skills.Leadership and decision-making abilities.Organizational and managerial skills.Ability to work under pressure.We offer meals and accommodation, along with growth opportunities within the hotel and other IHC S.p.A. group properties, combining tradition and innovation in luxury hospitality.#J-18808-Ljbffr
