Location: Brussels Belgium Department: OperationalPermanent Control (OPC) Employment Type: Full-time TeleworkExpectation: 50% on-site & 50% homeworking FunctionDescription: Track 4 is looking for an experienced Data Analyst tosupport OPC in Upgrading the current data setup of OPC (datasourcing methods, data modeling & analysis methods and tools,collaboration with other constructs) Developing data analyticsmethods that respond to current and future needs of OPC control andrisk teams, in cooperation with the Data department Deliveringqualitative data sets and data analytics outputs Contributing tothe TO BE vision of data management at OPC Mission: The role istwo-fold Strategic vision Address diversified business problemsrequiring data (such as descriptive business data to support riskanalysis or the setup of key risk indicators) Support OPC teams indefining the requirements for these data (data translation) Get toknow the different data providers of the Bank, particularly theData department, and be an active part of the implementationmodel(s) set up with those contributors Data analysis tasks Dataexploration and extraction, setup of data sets Ensure datacrunching and treatment for BI purposes Work with diverse dataanalytical methodologies, including statistical/Machine Learning,forecasting Data visualization Profile Language requirements Dutchor French: Fluent English: Fluent Education Master''s degree in DataAnalysis, Data Science, or a Business degree with proven experiencein data analytics Candidates with other academic backgrounds withsubstantial knowledge of analytics are also encouraged to applyCertifications SQL Python Required experience: Minimum 3 years ofrelevant experience in Data Analytics Main requirement The mainrequirement for the role of Data Analyst in Track 4 at OPC is tohave at least 3 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics.This includes proficiency in programming languages like SQL andPython, experience with predictive modeling (Machine Learning) forforecasting purposes, and familiarity with data visualization toolssuch as Tableau or Power BI. Additionally, the candidate shouldhave a strong background in data management and managementconsulting, along with good communication and influencing skills tointeract with various stakeholders. Technical experience Mandatory:Proficiency in SQL and Python Knowledge of interaction with OracleDBs Proven experience in predictive modeling (Machine Learning) forforecasting purposes Familiarity with development tools andlibraries such as Conda, GitLab, Jupyter, PyCharm Datavisualization skills (mandatory: Tableau; Power BI is apossibility) Preferable: Knowledge of AB Initio Familiarity withSAS universe Business experience Mandatory: Proven data managementbackground Proven management consulting experience Knowledge ofdigital culture and ability to work within the digital ecosystemPreferable: Previous experience in a similar role Soft skills Goodcommunication and influencing skills Quick self-starter, pro-activeattitude Good analytical and synthesis skills Autonomy, commitment,and perseverance Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-culturalenvironment
