The Additive Manufacturing & Component Reliability group, based in Neuchtel, Switzerland, is seeking an experienced Project Manager.
Your mission
As a Project Manager, your role will be to acquire and manage projects focused on implementing innovative additive manufacturing solutions and reliability methodologies. You will identify and secure new project opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and develop proposals aligned with their needs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and industrial partners, you will drive projects from conception to completion, leveraging your expertise to optimize workflows and deliver impactful solutions. Your role is pivotal in advancing CSEM''s mission to foster technological innovation and support the growth of Swiss industry.
Your Responsibilities
- Project Acquisition: Identify new collaboration opportunities and build relationships with potential clients.
- Project Preparation: Write and develop proposals that meet client needs and project goals.
- Project Management: Lead planning, implementation, and tracking of projects in additive manufacturing and reliability assessment.
- Coordination and Risk Management: Collaborate with departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution, while mitigating risks.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present reports on project progress, issues, solutions, and completion.
Your Profile
Know-how
- Educational background: MSc or PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, Applied Physics, or related fields, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Technical and market knowledge: Extensive experience in project acquisition and management, proficiency with project management tools, and knowledge of additive manufacturing, reliability assessment, and materials characterization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Languages: Fluency in English, French, and German, both oral and written.
