Position: Experienced Engineer in Rad-Hard IC Design
Saphyrion Sagl, a leader in rad-hard ICs for space applications in Europe, seeks an experienced engineer to work on challenging projects related to rad-hard IC design. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate on ambitious space missions in the EU and US, aiming to establish a European hub for space-qualified IC design.
Responsibilities:
- Design complex Analog and RF/Mixed signal ICs, including low-frequency operational circuits and V/W band components, using Bi-CMOS and CMOS technologies.
- Manage the layout design of IC blocks and participate in lab testing activities.
- Establish effective team interactions and understand project scope beyond specific tasks.
- Set up ASIC test benches and conduct performance measurement campaigns.
- Utilize CADENCE EDA tools for analog IC design.
- Ensure the successful execution of measurement campaigns and lab activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Analog and RF/Mixed-signal IC design.
- Master''s degree in Electrical Engineering; Ph.D. is a plus.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of German or other European languages is advantageous.
- Experience with CADENCE tools and transistor-level RF/Mixed-signal design.
- Experience with layout design and lab testing of ICs.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of semiconductor processes (CMOS, BiCMOS, SOI, SiGe) and experience with III-V processes like GaAs.
- Experience in PCB design and electromagnetic modeling tools.
- Understanding of semiconductor production flow, including packaging, testing, and qualification.
- Ability to analyze and simulate various circuits such as PLLs, oscillators, mixers, filters, and amplifiers.
