Are you ready to join a dynamic and innovative environment? We are seeking a Digital Transformation Manager Hardware Products to join ourteam based in Lamone, Ticino (Switzerland).
Main purpose of the role
Lead strategic development and continuous improvement of key initiatives and platforms to accelerate and drive new growth and margin expansion opportunities for different product categories. This will be achieved through streamlining end to end digital experience for customers, including, but not limited to, leading development of product configurators, e-commerce linked to product ordering systems and key operational functions for more automated end to end order process management. This cross functional role will lead coordination with technical, commercial, and operational teams, to build and execute a strategic roadmap for a differentiated digital experience.
An insight to the role
This is a high-impact role at the intersection of product innovation, digital commerce, and operational efficiency. The Digital Transformation Manager will:
- Lead the design, development, and expansion of Datamars digital eCommerce platform for AHDS (Animal Health Delivery System), LID (Livestock Identification), and LFI (Livestock Fencing Infrastructure) product categories.
- Oversee and drive future evolution of product configurators to simplify customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and enable customizable ordering across global markets.
- Gain deep understanding of end-to-end order process management to facilitate and lead transformation, where appropriate, to automate order processing and related workflows, from online ordering through to production and delivery.
- Align all digital platform developments with Datamars'' broader digital and commercial strategy to ensure consistent customer experience and efficient delivery.
- Champion integration and synergy across systems such as Datamars proprietary Datamars Ordering System (DMOS), digital tools (configurators) and external web platforms (e.g. Shopify) and product cloud applications
- Work across global teams, acting as a strategic orchestrator who brings together R&D, operations, marketing, commercial, and IT to deliver tangible business outcomes.
Key success factors
- 10+ years of experience in digital product management, ideally within B2B and B2C manufacturing, supply chain, or e-commerce sectors
- Demonstrated leadership in launching and scaling configurable product platforms or e-commerce tools
- Deep understanding of end-to-end order process workflows and platform architecture
- Experience with systems integration (APIs, ERP systems like SAP), digital storefronts (e.g., Shopify), and product information systems
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and navigate complex stakeholder environments
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills; data-informed and results-oriented
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing across levels and functions
- Good Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and product development best practices
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
