Seniority & profile : - From 15 years ofprofessionnel experience in software engineering - The ability tobuild an efficient software architecture and a mastery of C++ -With advanced fundamental knowledge related to robotics : ideallyrelated to solver/optimization & math heavy topics (evenfinance !), edge computing contexts with limited CPU ressources arealso pertinent. - Mastery of multi-threading & real-timeprogramming. - Master/Engineering degree or PhD As softwarearchitect of the motion team you will lead the software engineersof the team, while the motion leads are leading the roboticspecialist. Specifically, the software engineers of the motion teamwork on : - The frameworks & advanced libraries we develop asour back-end to easily create & solve optimization problem atruntime (formulating control problems), to integrate simulation& visualization tools - Any and all elements of the controlstack, alongside the robotic specialists, with the goal to ensure aclean, maintainable and real-time implementation. On our existingsoftware but also starting from concepts developed on paper. Thisposition is hands-on and will mean tackling the most complexsoftware challenges the motion team faces as well as designing thecore software vision of the team, expressed by the architecture thewhole team follows when creating features.
