Role Description Qity is seeking a highly skilled AI Software/Data Engineer to join our innovative team. This full-time position is based at our offices in Erpe-Mere. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimise AI-driven solutions, leveraging prompt orchestration frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) tools, and knowledge graphs . You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build and enhance intelligent systems tailored for the medical industry. Responsibilities Develop and implement AI-driven applications Design and optimise dynamic prompt assembly and chaining for improved AI performance. Work with RAG tools such as Neo4j and Protg to enable intelligent information retrieval and contextual AI reasoning. Build and maintain knowledge graphs to structure and enrich AI models. Design, implement, and manage ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data efficiently for AI systems. Architect scalable and high-performance AI solutions that comply with medical industry regulations and standards. Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to integrate AI models into real-world applications. Continuously improve AI-driven workflows, conduct testing, and validate models to ensure robustness and reliability. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and knowledge representation. Qualifications Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field Experience in prompt orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangChain, LlamaIndex) to enhance AI-driven applications. Strong programming skills in Python , with experience in frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX being a plus. Deep understanding of prompt engineering, LLM fine-tuning, and generative AI models . Experience in building and optimising knowledge graphs , including ontologies, semantic reasoning, and entity linking . Hands-on experience with RAG methodologies , including vector databases, graph-based retrieval, and document indexing . Expertise in ETL pipeline development , handling structured and unstructured data , and managing data lakes and warehouses . Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for AI model deployment and scaling. Strong understanding of database management systems , including SQL, NoSQL, and graph databases (e.g. Neo4j, ArangoDB, or RDF stores) . Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong mathematical and algorithmic foundation. Ability to work effectively in an agile, multidisciplinary environment.
