About Us

Royal Verkade (est. 1886), part of Pladis since 2016 (brands: McVities, Godiva, lker), produces cookies and crackers with over 300 years of combined baking history. At our Zaandam factory, youll work with ~250 colleagues and cutting-edge equipment, contributing to exciting upgrades and innovations.

The Role

As EIA Lead, youll:

• Manage a team of ~5 technicians and engineers
• Oversee daily maintenance and CapEx projects
• Own technical planning, budgeting, and risk assessments
• Align with internal teams and external contractors
• Drive improvements in automation and efficiency

Youll report to the Maintenance Manager and collaborate cross-functionally, sometimes internationally.

What You Bring

• Bachelors (HBO) in Electrical Engineering/Industrial Automation
• Experience with PLC/SCADA, MMS, ERP systems
• Knowledge of machine safety and high-voltage (or willing to learn)
• Background in food or process industries
• Strong communicator (Dutch), team player, and driven to grow
