ENVIRONMENT:A global leader in Cybersecurity seeks a highly driven & forward-thinking Regional Account Manager for its Kenya division. The core focus will be on proactively building new clients and growing assigned territories. This will involve working closely with the Technical, Channel Partner, and Marketing teams to formulate selling strategies and campaigns, aiming to build trusted relationships with customers and their senior representatives. The successful candidate will be accountable for achieving and exceeding sales targets to contribute to the region''s sales performance. Additionally, serving as a Trusted Advisor, you will articulate and promote the companys value proposition and services to customers. Proficiency in Salesforce, at least 6 years of relevant sales experience (preferably in the Security industry), and relevant certifications in Sales & Security are required. Knowledge of Security frameworks such as Zero Trust, SASE, UEBA, XDR, SIEM, and SOAR will be highly advantageous.DUTIES:Primary Responsibilities Identify and proactively target prospects and existing clients to promote key technologies and services.Increase market share within the defined territory and develop strategies for each product and service.Engage with CIOs/CISOs in the territory to create and grow opportunities.Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Marketing, and Sales teams to deliver the right value propositions.Achieve quarterly revenue goals aligned with Business Unit objectives.Develop relationships with alliances or technology partners such as AWS, Microsoft, VMware, and Google.Maintain all account information in Salesforce for opportunity management, revenue forecasting, and planning.Communicate relevant information to stakeholders for informed decision-making.Build and sustain client relationships by understanding their business needs.Advise customers on Cybersecurity initiatives and ensure ongoing engagement from demos to post-implementation support.Lead and support client meetings and calls.Participate in account review meetings to discuss performance, customer experience, and future opportunities.Sell value to CIOs and manage complex customer scenarios demonstrating technical and sales expertise.REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 6 years of relevant sales experience, preferably with experience in the Security industry.Proven account management experience in the commercial sector.Exposure to both end customer environments and channels.Sales certifications.Security certifications.Knowledge of competitors, emerging cybersecurity technologies, trends (Cloud, Digital Transformation, IoT), and relevant regulations.Advantageous Account Management Certifications such as SPIN or TAS.Knowledge of security frameworks like Zero Trust, SASE, UEBA, XDR, and platforms like SIEM and SOAR.ATTRIBUTES:Growth-oriented mindset and experience working collaboratively.Ability to network and build relationships with senior executives.Excellent presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technology benefits in simple business language.Note: Only South African Citizens will be considered.
