You will be responsible for the timely and correct handling of all day-to-day indirect tax matters concerning clients, including correspondence and communication with clients, third parties, and Vistras teams.The Indirect Tax Manager also manages financial aspects, reporting, and people management within the Tax Services department. You should also be involved in creating new projects and initiatives for department expansion and revenue growth.Your responsibilities include:Advise on technical matters related to all Indirect Tax Services.Support client servicing units/teams with Indirect Tax matters in their daily work.Communicate effectively with tax authorities, external advisors, and clients.Monitor invoice follow-up and debt collection.Maintain understanding of accounting, tax, legal documents, and requirements.Develop team members through relevant training.Manage complex technical issues reported by team members.Meet own chargeability targets.Optimize client follow-up, time management, and processes.Ensure high-quality work preparation.Support daily operations of the team.Align department development with organizational objectives.Maintain high service and communication standards.Anticipate client needs through Indirect Tax analysis and develop technical research skills.Collaborate effectively with client servicing units and support departments.Ensure compliance with AML and internal policies.Keep the team informed on professional developments.Build strong relationships with advisors and clients, including visits and meetings.Contribute to expanding the Tax Services business line.Manage client relations, including meetings, understanding their business, and handling issues.Lead team management: allocate work, supervise quality, provide feedback, and conduct performance appraisals.Relevant experience:University degree or equivalent in Accounting or Tax, specializing in Indirect Tax.At least 5 years experience in Luxembourg Indirect Tax.Fluent in English and French or German.Proficient in MS Office.Strong communication and organizational skills.Proactive and client-oriented attitude.Attention to detail and prioritization skills.Ability to work independently and in a team.If you are excited about working with us, we encourage you to apply or have a confidential chat with our Talent Acquisition team.
