We are currently seeking aCustomer Engineer - AC Power to join our dynamic team in Milan,Italy! What will be your role in your team? As a Customer Engineer,you will play a pivotal role in startups, maintenance, andemergency repairs for Vertiv UPS, battery, power distribution, andsite monitoring equipment. Required to establish, promote andmaintain excellent rapport with all customers, salesmen,distributors, and others within the area. Maintain continuouscommunications with Call Control and the departmentManager/Supervisor. What specific responsibilities will you havewithin your team? - Respond, in a professional manner, to allassigned service calls while on duty. - Perform all work using goodworking practice and current codes of practice/legislation relevantto assigned task. - Ensure spare parts are properly accounted forusing established parts procedures. - Assist in ensuring that theplanned maintenance completion rate is maintained at a min 90%. -Assist call control to schedule, plan and complete any works asrequired, using established work flow procedures. - Keep callcontrol informed of your schedule and the status of all open jobs.- Maintain the accuracy of the customer listing by reporting errorswith the site change form. - Work collaboratively within theservice team. - Follow up and follow through on all assigned tasks.- Submit daily paperwork accurately and promptly, ensuring thoroughdebriefing in Wireless Field Service. - Ensure availability to workduring weekend and nights. What are the keys to your success? -HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent; -Experience of working in a technical service or test environment ofAC Power equipment - essential; - Proficient in computer literacy(Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook); - Previous field serviceexperience - essential; - Excellent customer service andcommunication skills; - Strong customer service and communicationskills; - Self starter, ability to plan, organize and manage timeeffectively with an ability to work under pressure; - Clean Validdriving license.
