Job Description SummaryThe Aero Alliance Repair Development Leader will lead all aspects of new repair development, working closely with GE Aviation & Channel engineering teams as well as other suppliers to identify, build the business case for, and execute new repair development to drive product cost reduction, improved turnaround time, and other key outcomes for the Aero Alliance and its customers.Job DescriptionEssential Functions:Lead the team to drive Repair Development Strategy for Aero Alliance (a 50/50 joint venture between GE Vernova & Baker Hughes).Own and drive the Repair Multi-Generational Product Plan (MGPP) and New Product Introduction (NPI) for the evolution of the JV repair network, setting strategy for Level 4 and Level 5 capacity and capabilities.Create a Repair Gameboard, working closely with Aero Alliance stakeholders to ensure effective development, productivity, commercial execution, and fulfillment.Manage the end-to-end process of introducing new processes to external suppliers, fostering partnership between Engineering and Operations to execute repairs (Qualifications, development).Support insourcing activities for the JV.Manage full business cases for repair developments, including Engineering, P&E, and other capital or operational expenses.Drive visibility for total Repair Entitlement by Platform (LM2500, LM6000, LMS100 & LM9000) by collaborating with Platform Leaders.Represent Aero Alliance in Repair Control Board operating rhythms with GE Aviation and ensure team preparedness for successful business case development and execution strategy.Work with Operations to expand shop capabilities (influx, new products).Own and implement new repair capacity, managing qualifications and capacity implementation to deliver fully functional new processes and capabilities to operations.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.Significant experience in Product Management, Engineering, or relevant technical functions.Proven competence in Aeroderivative repair strategy.Extensive technical experience with Turbo Machinery, Industrial Gas Turbines, or Aviation engines.Experience managing direct reports.Experience working in a Shop environment supporting Operations.Proficient in technical writing.For US candidates only:Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.Minimum 10 years experience with Turbo Machinery, Aviation, or similar engines, modules, and components.At least 7 years of direct technical experience with Turbo Machinery, Industrial Gas Turbines, or Aviation engines.Minimum 5 years managing direct reports.Experience working in a Shop environment supporting Operations.Proficient technical writer.Desired Characteristics:Proven track record of delivering results in a dynamic business environment.Deep technical knowledge of Aeroderivatives is advantageous.Self-directed with leadership and problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to meet goals and develop strong teams.Understanding of business objectives and product capabilities.Effective communication of business vision.Encourages team input and anticipates customer needs.Measures performance from the customer''s perspective.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No#J-18808-Ljbffr
