We are seeking an experienced Project Buyer to shape the future with us. Based in Milan within the Purchasing Department of the Transmission Business Unit, reporting directly to the Projects Purchasing Coordinator, the candidate will:Develop and execute sourcing plans for projects within the assigned region;Manage project sourcing plans to ensure compliance with budget, timing, and contractual requirements;Handle complex contractual negotiations, supported by the legal department, to ensure proper flow-down of main contract provisions;Implement purchasing procedures and processes;Identify cost-saving and improvement opportunities in terms of costs, processes, quality, and service, possibly introducing innovative approaches and looking for synergies across the region;Promote early involvement of Purchasing and support the Strategic Tender Purchasing team in negotiating Pre-Bid Agreements;Scout the market to expand the supplier base for strategic commodities.Ideal candidates will have:2-3 years of experience in a purchasing role;Solid professional experience in multinational companies;Determination, enthusiasm, and commitment to managing complexity and challenges;Excellent team-building skills;Good communication skills and a strategic mindset;Proficiency in English; knowledge of French and/or German is a plus;Familiarity with SAP system.We offer:Permanent contract;Hybrid working model: 8 days per month in the office;Flexible working hours;Ticket Restaurants: 9 per day;Health insurance;Support for public transportation;Annual bonus and stock option plans;Collaborative, dynamic, and respectful work environment.Our selection process includes:Application;HR interview;Hiring manager interviews;Online assessment (30 min).If you''re excited about this role and eager to contribute to a collaborative environment with impactful, sustainable projects, we encourage you to apply.
