Your role as a Cloud Data Architect in NTT Data Gov & Tech involves supporting customers in Big Data projects by collaborating with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, data needs, and outcome objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering data acquisition, transformation, cleansing, conversion, compression, and loading of data into data lakes for analytics and machine learning models.The Cloud Data Architect should understand the challenges of a cloud-native environment, think creatively to find innovative yet simple solutions, and share these solutions with the team. The role acts as a bridge between Data Science and Data Engineering, requiring a clear understanding of both fields.Ideal candidates may be Data Scientists seeking more experience in data preparation or Data Engineers interested in Data Science. The environment is characterized by a blend of Japanese and European cultural elements.Required SkillsExperience in a cloud-native environment with at least one of the major public clouds (GCP, AWS, Azure); 2 years of experience on Azure is preferred.Knowledge of Big Data Architectures, both cloud and on-premise.Experience with Azure infrastructure and networking.Ability to build and deliver proofs-of-concept addressing specific business needs using appropriate techniques, data sources, and technologies.Experience migrating workloads from on-premise to cloud environments.Monitoring distributed infrastructure using Azure tools or open-source solutions like Grafana or Prometheus.Proven experience in programming with Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting.Knowledge of SQL.Experience working with Agile methodologies and Kanban.Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Apache Spark, Databricks, and other Azure ETL/ELT tools.Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification, or equivalent in other cloud providers.Desired Skills and CertificationsAdditional Big Data certifications (e.g., Cloudera, Databricks).Experience with non-Azure ETL/ELT solutions like Talend, Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica PowerCenter.Experience with Data Visualization tools such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau.#J-18808-Ljbffr
