We''re hiring: Data Architect Exciting Opportunity in the Fashion & Retail Tech Sector

Location: Remote from Spain or hybrid in Barcelona

Start date: ASAP

Freelance contract: 2 year contract with ability of extension

Languages: Spanish and English B2+

We are looking for a Data Architect to join a dynamic tech team in the fashion & retail sector. This role is focused on hands-on development and ownership of key data architecture initiatives, especially around dbt and Airflow.

What were looking for:

• 23+ years of solid, hands-on experience with dbt (must-have)
• 4+ years of experience with Python or another object-oriented programming language
• Proven experience working with Apache Airflow for orchestration
• Bonus points for experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Glue, Athena, API Gateway, ECR/ECS)
• Familiarity with Databricks and/or Snowflake is highly valued
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows, especially using Jenkins and Bitbucket
• A proactive mindset, a drive to learn, and strong ownership of technical challenges

If you''re based in Barcelona, wed love to have you occasionally on-site but were also open to remote candidates located anywhere in Spain.
