Job Title: Freelance Senior Node.js/AWS Developer Contract Type: 6-Month Freelance Location: North Brabant (1-2 days per week in-office) Start Date: ASAP Job Description: As a Node.js/AWS Developer, you will be working on building and maintaining scalable applications and systems in the cloud using AWS services. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and implement solutions that meet business needs, ensuring performance, security and scalability. The role requires a flexible, proactive developer who can work independently while collaborating with the team on-site 1-2 days per week. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate back-end services Optimize and scale cloud-based applications to meet performance requirements Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and reviews Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing timely resolutions Ensure the security and compliance of applications hosted in the cloud Required Skills Qualifications: Proven experience as a Node.js developer Hands-on experience with AWS services Experience with RESTful API development and microservice architectures Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker Knowledge of database management systems (PostgreSQL) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Fluent in English; Dutch is preferred If you wish to be considered for the position available, please e-mail an up to date CV with a contact number to: scott.combes@vividresourcing.com or alternatively call on +31 (0) 208888400.
