MIBL now has an opening for a: Business Control Team Leader (M\F) (Ref.: MIBLCC0404) Your responsibilities will include: Own, maintain and develop the Oversight function over external entities for Custody and Fund Order Desk services; Lead the oversight team and make sure proper supervision is given; Produce and manage daily, weekly and monthly KPIs and KRIs of the external entities, including meetings such as Service review, Executive Committees and due diligences; Update and improve the internal working procedures, manuals and checklists; Own and support ad hoc projects related to your activities; Understand and implement, if necessary, any upcoming regulation impacting Custody & Banking Services; Monitor, check and validate any transaction falling into the sanctions screening tool; Liaise with Compliance department for any topic in relation to sanctions screening; Assist and support the Head of Department in an appropriate way; Assist and support the staff in their daily tasks; Give training to the staff and make sure that a stable environment is given for the staff in scope; Coordinate resolve any customer service issue brought up by internal and/or external departments or clients/Fund Managers. Your profile: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the Funds Industry is essential. Experience in regulatory advisory, compliance; risk management, control environment or similar is a strong asset; Prior experience (minimum 7 years) in Custody business and in particular Corporate Actions/Income Collection/Settlement/Oversight function; Knowledge of regulations in order to anticipate impact on the current control framework; Analyzing, validating and implementing workflows, processes & procedures for the Custodian Bank activities; Internal Use Only Not to be released outside Team player & excellent communication skills; Result-oriented and ability to work under pressure; Good overview and understanding of financial instruments used within the banking/financial sector as well as understanding of related transactions.
