Purpose of the position: As Tender Manager you are responsible for coordinating, structuring, and optimizing the tender process. You ensure timely and competitive quotes and play an essential role in the commercial strength of our client. You are a proactive sparring partner of the Commercial Manager and work closely with Engineering and Operations What will your operational responsibilities be at our client''s office? Drafting, guiding, and improving tender processes, from registration to submission; Actively following up on commercial leads in collaboration with the Commercial Manager; Issuing commercial proposals that are in line with the corporate objectives and governance guidelines; Organizing and leading bid kick-off meetings and monitoring progress with the departments involved; Analysing customer questions, contract requirements and risks; defining the scope of work; Compiling integral tender documentation, including cost estimates, planning and project organization; Responsible for clear communication with internal teams and external clients; Setting up and maintaining customer relationships; Managing the tender register and commitment schedule. What we look for in our ideal candidate: Education Experience: Completed higher professional education in a commercial or technical direction; At least 5 years of relevant work experience in tender or project management within the offshore, renewable energy or maritime sector; Experience with contract management (such as BIMCO), project planning, and cost estimates. Skills Knowledge: Strong in process-oriented work and documentation; Skilled in stakeholder management and customer-oriented communication (Dutch and English); Experience with project software and good computer skills; Knowledge of relevant standards and legislation within the sector. Personal Competences: Proactive, structured and results-oriented; Hands-on mentality: switches effortlessly between strategy and execution; Strong organizational and communication skills; Flexible and stress-resistant, with an eye for detail and overview; Honest, reliable, and loyal to the team and the organization.
