Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Functional Safety Tester to join our Digital and Product Solutions team within the Functional Safety Business Unit. This role focuses on innovating safety and security through intelligent testing solutions and safety services, contributing to a safer digital and connected world.

Responsibilities

1. Plan and execute functional safety tests for safety-critical systems based on standards.
2. Analyze test results, identify safety risks, and recommend mitigations.
3. Participate in HARA activities to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
4. Prepare detailed reports, safety analyses, and certification documentation.
5. Ensure compliance with international safety standards like ISO 26262 and IEC 61508.
6. Develop and optimize test plans and procedures.
7. Coordinate efforts across Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, and AI domains.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stay updated on industry trends.

Candidate Profile

Required qualifications include a Bachelor''s or Master''s in Engineering, basic knowledge of safety standards, proficiency in CANoe and CANalyzer, experience in safety testing, Linux OS, scripting languages, and communication protocols. Strong analytical, communication skills, and proficiency in English are essential.

Preferred qualifications include ASPICE knowledge, safety engineer certification, international experience, and German language skills.
