To meet new challenges in the technical field, we are looking for a Development Engineer - Opto-Mechanical, Microtechnology specialization.
The activity consists mainly in the development of sophisticated technological products within the established deadlines, from their conception to their respective production maturity.
- In close collaboration with the resources of the various departments involved, develop projects and concepts for the development and technical improvement of the various products and their means of production by:
- Analysis of current solutions and development of proposals, as well as implementation and evaluation of the results of the various experiments.
- Preparation of calculations, analysis, and development of solutions, ensuring that there is a solid theoretical basis on which to evaluate the effectiveness of proposed solutions.
Analysis and development of special solutions to meet internal and/or customer specifications, including definition of tests and characterization of materials, in close collaboration with the metrology laboratory.Drafting of technical documentation and presentations suitable for describing the various proposed solutions.Technical support during the assembly and testing phases, monitoring the actual feasibility of the proposed solutions.Development of prototypes suitable for validating concepts and evaluating the most suitable manufacturing methods, in close collaboration with the appropriate bodies, including following the product through the testing phases both in the factory and in the field.Support for the Sales and Product Management sectors in the drafting and analysis of "Customer Technical Specifications."Support for the Supply Chain in the procurement of materials and the search for suppliers.Your profile
- Degree in microengineering, mechanics, materials and/or process science or similar.
- Experience in opto-mechanical component development.
- Several years of experience in an industrial environment (fiber optics advantageous) in a similar position.
- Good knowledge of material analysis of plastics, ceramics, and metals.
- Ability to work in a team and to solve problems. The position will be within the Research and Development department.
- Analytical and organizational skills.
- Flexible, communicative person with initiative.
- Languages: Italian and excellent knowledge of German and English essential.
