One of Plant''s rapidly growing global pharmaceutical clients are seeking a Network Architect to lead the complete redesign of its outdated network infrastructure. This expert will assess the global IT landscape, ensuring hardware choices, connectivity, and scalability align with business needs across Belgium, the US, Japan, and multiple European locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and redesign the network infrastructure to ensure it is fit for purpose and future-proof.
- Analyze existing hardware and connectivity, identifying areas for optimization and upgrades.
- Develop infrastructure blueprints, ensuring IT is included in strategic business decisions.
- Solve complex network challenges, such as high-data transfers impacting system performance.
- Implement solutions across multiple global offices, considering unique business needs (e.g., firewall setups for lab vs. office environments).
- Work closely with third-party providers, ensuring effective IT service delivery and issue resolution.
Required Experience & Skills:
