Amazon is one of the most recognizable brand names in the world, distributing millions of products each year to our loyal customers.We are seeking an Operations Manager for our Transportation team.Essential FunctionsDefine, build, and oversee the execution of transportation processes from Fulfillment Centers (FC) to customers, leveraging our Last Mile network.Hire, train, and develop a highly motivated workforce for the Last Mile teams, with support from HR and training teams, to meet operational requirements and maintain high standards of quality and productivity.Coordinate with Finance, Customer Service, FC, and Projects teams on matters related to Last Mile operations.Continuously improve Last Mile processes to achieve sustained performance standards. Initiate improvements to enhance quality, reduce waste, and eliminate unnecessary work.Analyze data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements.Implement formal process control and process improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen.Minimum QualificationsBachelor''s degree or equivalent.At least 1 year of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
