This resulted in launching various strategies disrupting the market on Emerging Markets and Active Fixed Income among other areas to give investors a large panel of solutions to pursue their objectives.This is a replacement position based in Milan focusing on leveraging our existing relationships (and creating new ones) at Franklin to sell our ETF proposition and identify pure ETF buyers, covering clients directly. It involves operational and strategic responsibilities.The Senior ETF Sales for Italy will work closely with the existing Mutual Fund Sales Team and Head of Italy. The role reports to the Head of ETF Distribution EMEA and involves managing a small team.Responsibilities include:Being the ambassador of our ETF business in Italy (based in Milan).Defining the ETF sales and marketing strategy for Italy in collaboration with local marketing teams.Developing and maintaining client relationships from an ETF perspective, redefining target segments and prospects.Hosting and attending meetings with prospects, managing opportunity qualification processes.Prospecting and managing relationships with prospects and intermediaries.Maintaining accurate prospect and sales activity data on CRM.Building strong relationships with the Generalist Sales Team and ensuring smooth communication.Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adapting to industry changes.Facilitating communication across teams: products, sales, marketing, capital markets.Building internal and external awareness of the ETF initiative through training, profiling, and industry events.Participating in product launch planning and defining new ETF offerings.Managing and developing the ETF team.Interacting with the press.Qualifications and skills:Bachelors/MSc in Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience.8+ years in ETF or related fields, with strong client relationships in Italy (Private Banks, Asset Managers, Family Offices, Institutional clients).Ideally CFA or equivalent qualification.Deep understanding of the Italian market and trends.Consultative selling skills and ability to collaborate with sales teams.Knowledge of investment management techniques and industry.Excellent Italian and English communication skills.Networking skills and ability to navigate complex organizations.Results-driven, proactive, and team-oriented.Willingness to travel.We offer a competitive package and a culture focused on diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being.
