Job Summary:
Mars Petcare seeks a technical leader for our newly formed Digital Products, Platforms & Services team. This role focuses on enhancing our Consent, Identity, and Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities, driving the development of digital products that improve pet owner experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of software engineers to design and deliver high-quality SSO products.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to define requirements and prioritize features.
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Architect scalable software systems and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Communicate technical strategies and findings to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 2+ years in a leadership role with strong software development experience.
- Expertise in SSO, consent management, and authentication protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- Proficiency in Java and familiarity with other programming languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and database technologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Preferred:
- Experience in a global multi-brand company.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations.
