South Kensington CampusFixed funded until 30 April 2019Applications are invited for the position of Office Administrator in the London headquarters of the UK Energy Research Centre (UKERC), hosted at Imperial College. The person appointed will be primarily responsible for the administration support of a new 1.5M networking fund. They will also enhance the delivery of the existing 15M UKERC programme.UKERC carries out world-class inter-disciplinary research into sustainable future energy systems. It is the focal point of UK energy research and a gateway between the UK and the international energy research communities. Our highly regarded programme of research and strategic engagement encourages cohesion among the research community and reflects and informs UK policy development and research strategy.UKERC established stakeholder networks to provide a robust framework for communication and interaction between those actively involved in performing, utilising, or funding energy research. Following the successes stemming from these networks UKERC has been chosen to lead on the delivery of a 1.5M networking fund aimed at improving communications and collaboration between whole systems energy researchers and those engaged in more disciplinary focussed areas of research.The successful applicant will have strong relevant experience within an administrative, office or PA role and excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.The College cannot normally apply for a Certificate of Sponsorship for this post under Tier 2 of the UKVI?s Points Based System.
