Java Technical Lead iGaming Industry Location: Remote in Spain
Project Overview Join a rapidly growing technology company at the intersection of gaming, data, and innovation. We specialize in delivering high-performance platforms for the iGaming industry, covering everything from risk management and trading to user engagement and analytics. Were looking for a Java Technical Lead who can guide a talented development team while owning the architecture and quality of critical back-end systems. Your Responsibilities * Lead and mentor a team of Java developers in a collaborative Agile environment. * Drive architecture and development of scalable, secure, and maintainable applications. * Provide code-level guidance, conduct code reviews, and ensure best practices. * Implement and optimize cloud-native services in a Kubernetes ecosystem. * Work closely with product and QA teams to ensure technical excellence. * Build and manage event-driven systems using Kafka, caching tools, and modern databases. * Stay up to date with emerging technologies and advocate their adoption when beneficial.
What Were Looking For * 5+ years of Java development experience with modern frameworks. * Solid experience working in Kubernetes-based environments. * Strong leadership and mentoring background. * Proficiency in SQL and database design. * Hands-on experience with Kafka and distributed caching systems (e.g., Redis, Memcached). * Prior iGaming industry experience is required. * Familiarity with front-end (HTML, CSS, JS, Angular/React) is a plus. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. * At least B2 level of English.
