Schindler is seeking a dedicatedEnvironmental Engineer to join our Global Technology Department andplay a pivotal role in delivering environmentally sustainable andenergy-efficient products and services. What Youll Do: - PerformLife Cycle Assessments (LCAs) to evaluate and enhance productfootprint.; - Support product certification, material declarations,and the creation of Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) andHealth Product Declarations (HPD); - Monitor environmental trendsand ensure product compliance with regulations; - Develop andimplement innovative tools and methods for automating eco-designprocesses across product development; - Provide expert training andcoaching on product ecology throughout the development andvalidation phases; - Offer technical advice on low-energy designsand guide engineering efforts in areas like reuse, remanufacturing,recycling, and carbon emissions; - Lead product environmentalprojects, ensuring they align with objectives, timelines, budgets,and regulatory standards from inception to completion. What WereLooking For: We are looking for passionate and skilled individualswith the following qualifications: - Masters degree (preferred) insustainability, environmental science, or a related field; -Expertise in life cycle assessment (LCA) methods, circular economyprinciples, climate change strategies, and low-carbon productdevelopment; - Practical experience in quantifying environmentalimpacts in the context of building and industrial sectors; -Familiarity with key environmental indicators such as carbon,water, energy, and resource use; - Exceptional analytical andproblem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric approach; -Proven ability to work independently and lead cross-functionalteams both locally and globally; - A self-motivated mindset andadaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; -Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complextopics to diverse teams and leadership levels; - Fluency in English(additional languages are a plus).
