We assist clients in adopting the latest digital platforms, ensuring resiliency, launching new products, and entering new markets with minimal disruption.Role OverviewThe DevOps Engineer applies specialized knowledge to design, develop, test, configure, and implement new or enhanced business and technical software solutions. This involves using standard software development lifecycle methodologies and interacting with clients and project teams to understand the business and technical environment. Responsibilities include defining scope, planning, delivering components, analyzing and resolving problems, monitoring performance, documenting systems, and adhering to security and quality standards. Staying current with emerging tools and technologies is also essential.Required Skills and ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with expertise in Build and Release Management.Hands-on experience with AWS provisioning and familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, S3, ELB, IAM, VPC, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, and OpenSearch.Experience with tools like TeamCity, JFrog, GitLab, and proficiency in creating automation scripts using CloudFormation.Experience working with GitHub Actions.Knowledge of Docker, including containerizing applications, creating Docker images, and configuring Docker containers.Experience with Fluent Bit & FluentD, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, AuroraDB, Redis clusters, and monitoring metrics.Ability to monitor DataDog and troubleshoot latency issues.Who You AreJoining DXC means connecting with talented individuals who embrace change and seek to advance their careers while driving customer success.
