The primary responsibility is to provide consulting services within the Supply Chain division, focusing on refinery planning, scheduling, and offline blend optimization.Your ImpactDeliver consulting services including solutions design, implementation, technical delivery, training, and advisory services for AspenTech Petroleum SCM Suite solutions (PIMS/AUP, APS/AUS, MBO, PSCP) for refineries, olefins, and aromatics businesses.Manage project work from start to finish.Perform or participate in proof of concepts/trial evaluations and provide user training.Lead cross-functional teams such as Customer Support and R&D to resolve Petroleum SCM issues.Support sales and marketing efforts to grow Petroleum SCM licenses and services.Assist R&D with product beta testing and quality improvements.Provide product training at the office and at customer sites worldwide to enhance customer skills.Facilitate knowledge transfer, internal staff training, and best practices sharing.What You''ll NeedBachelors degree in chemical engineering, petroleum/petrochemical engineering, or related fields; Masters degree is a plus.15+ years of relevant experience in refinery or petrochemical planning/scheduling or consulting in these areas.Experience in a service organization and exposure to refinery, olefins, or aromatics industries preferred. Candidates with experience as model administrators or internal consultants for these applications are also eligible.Familiarity with AspenTech Refinery Supply Chain Planning, Scheduling, and Blending suite or similar solutions from other vendors is required. Experience in model development, maintenance, or implementation of these solutions is necessary.Knowledge of refinery/petrochemical processes and supply chain management is advantageous. Understanding of application integration in these industries is a plus.Working knowledge of MS SQL Server and/or Oracle is useful.Programming skills in VB, VB.Net, ASP.Net, C++, C#.Net, XML/XSL are beneficial.Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.Ability to multitask effectively and travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.Fast learner with motivation to learn new technologies.
