The firm is a signatory of the UN PRI, attained B-Corp status, and is committed to the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi).Your role and responsibilitiesYou will join the cross-functional Sustainability & Strategy team, supporting investments across all asset classes and countries. Your main duties include analyzing industry trends, maintaining and expanding Ambientas network of industry experts, proposing investment ideas, and ensuring alignment with the firms environmental sustainability mandate. You will collaborate with investment teams throughout the investment lifecycle, act as a point of contact within the firm, and lead and mentor junior team members.Main TasksConduct analyses on environmental trends impacting industry verticals and develop investment insights.Support investment teams during idea generation and due diligence, engaging with company management and utilizing proprietary methodologies.Apply impact assessment methodologies across asset classes to evaluate environmental contributions and competitive advantages.Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including investment proposals and impact reports.Represent Ambientas investment strategy in investor relations activities and public speaking engagements.Your SkillsOutstanding academic background in Engineering or other STEM disciplines.6 to 10+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably within consulting firms or strategy/BD/M&A departments.Familiarity with industries relevant to environmental sustainability trends.Interest in environmental topics and sustainability.Proactive, team-oriented, curious, and reliable in managing multiple activities.MBA is a plus.Fluent in English and Italian; additional European languages are a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
