We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Cloud Engineer or Architect. This role is permanent position based in Zrich, Bern, Basel or Lausanne depending on candidate preference.Your Role:As a Cloud Engineer: Advise customers on the optimal use of cloud technologies. Concept & implement of cloud customer projects in public & hybrid cloud environments. Collaborate in the further development the internal technology stack. Develop prototypes & showcases with the latest platform technologies.As a Cloud Architect: Accompany customers in a variety of projects from the conception to the commissioning of intelligent cloud solutions. Choose a suitable cloud provider & develop associated architectures & data concepts. Focus on cloud-native approaches & open source tools. Assist in Cloud Engineer activities when required to help ensure project success. Support members of the development team in the development of solutions & lead them through to productive operation.Your Skills:As a Cloud Engineer: At least 3 years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering with at least one of the three leading public cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP). Skilled & experienced in the design, development &/or administration of distributed systems. Ideally Cloud Certified.As a Cloud Architect: At least 3 years of professional experience in IT Infrastructure & Platform Architecture & / or System Engineering; in particular on cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, GCP or AWS). Strong experience & expertise in the design, development & / or administration of distributed systems. An in-depth knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes.Your Profile: Computer Science University Degree. Methodical & team-oriented. Enthusiastic to experiment independently with new technologies & consistently motivated to further develop. Fluent in English & German for the Zurich, Bern & Basel locations.
