MECTRON SPA, a leading designer and manufacturer ofmedical and dental equipment is looking for, Senior ElectricalEngineer - Hardware (HW) and Firmware (FW) Developer Reporting tothe team leader, PM, Department manager he/she has resposnabilityin his techincal functions to advance exiting technology orintroduce new technology or introduce best working practice respectto the current working method. The resource will be in charge of: -Reaserch, design development and testing of electrical componentsuch as equipment and components of a complex system, both forcommercial and for internal company use - Firmware development andtesting: he/she gets the requirments of the expected behavior ofthe embedded software, and he/she analyzes the possible solutions -Analysis for the design of complex section of the firmware/software- Estimation of the effort required for completing the technicaltasks, support less experienced team member on the task effortestimation - Documentation about the technical tasks and technicalanalysis - Verification of the job done by less experiencedcolleagues - Management of the project on his job areaRequirements: - Established experience in the use of AltiumDesigner - Expertise in firmware development in C/C++ for PIC, ARMand ESP32 - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git orSVN - Optional knowledge of tools such as LabVIEW and Simulink -Excellent problem solving skills and initiative - Experience inplanning and managing development team activities using MicrosoftProject - Ability to draft technical documents (analysis,reporting, etc.) - Ability to lead and manage a technical team -Preferable experience in the medical or automotive sectors withknowledge of relevant regulations Educational requirementsSecondary education and 10 years of relevant experienceBaccalaureate degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experienceAdvanced degree with 5 years of experience Salary package:open-ended contract with fixed plus variableremuneration
